Saronic Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Workday Senior Developer to support and scale our enterprise Financial Systems ecosystem. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, compliant, and scalable Workday Financials and integration solutions that support a rapidly growing, regulated organisation.
\nThe ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong systems thinking, security awareness, and disciplined delivery execution.
\nKey responsibilities include:\nDesign, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable solutions within Workday Financials\nSupport core Financial modules and Accounting Center configuration and integrations\nTranslate complex Finance and Accounting requirements into robust technical solutions\nDevelop and support integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, and Workday APIs\nBuild and maintain reports including Standard, Advanced, Composite, and BIRT\nDesign and maintain Workday Orchestrate for Integrations (O4I) workflows\nPartner with enterprise integration teams to ensure alignment with middleware, ERP, CRM, and analytics platforms\nEnsure integrations and solutions align with enterprise architecture standards\nAdhere to structured change management and release governance processes\nMaintain clear documentation, traceability, and system integrity across environments\nImplement secure integration patterns and enforce strong data governance practices\nOperate within environments requiring controlled data handling and compliance rigor\nSupport audit readiness, segregation of duties, and internal control frameworks\nEvaluate opportunities to leverage Workday Extend applications using IntelliJ or App Builder\nContinuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability\nIdentify technical debt and recommend modernization opportunities
\nQualifications include:\n5+ years of software development experience in Workday\n5+ years of experience designing, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining Workday solutions using Workday Studio, EIB, and Reporting (Standard, Advanced, Composite, BIRT)\n4+ years of experience working with Workday Financials applications\nExperience with Accounting Center preferred\n3+ years of experience designing, building, testing, implementing, and maintaining Workday Orchestrate for Integrations (O4I) preferred\nExperience with Workday Extend applications using IntelliJ or App Builder is a plus\nWorkday Studio Certification preferred\nExperience operating in regulated or compliance-focused environments preferred\nFamiliarity with secure integration design, data governance principles, and enterprise control frameworks preferred\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
