      <Title>Transport Administrator</Title>
      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are seeking a Transport Administrator to manage the day-to-day organisation of operations at our Newton Abbot Depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating and routing vehicles to ensure best-in-class service delivery to customers, while maintaining health and safety standards and ensuring environmental and O licence compliance.</p>
<p>Principal Accountabilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Liaise daily with operational staff to achieve a safe and best-in-class service delivery.</li>
<li>Manage route efficiency and utilise optimum disposal outlets within the area to ensure effective use of vehicles and facilities.</li>
<li>Manage driver availability and coverage in line with legislation and company procedures to ensure suitable coverage at all times.</li>
<li>Perform administrative duties, including input of pay and bonus onto the company systems, and accurate input of disposal information.</li>
<li>Supervise vehicle availability on a daily basis, ensuring drivers have completed their checks in accordance with company policy.</li>
<li>Contribute towards ongoing cost control, actively seeking to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.</li>
<li>Ensure all administrative tasks associated with the Dispatch office are completed, including time sheets, tachograph records, payroll records, holiday rotas, and resolution of QLS.</li>
</ul>
<p>In conjunction with the Depot Manager, ensures that mandatory training, induction, and toolbox talks are delivered in line with company policy.</p>
<p>Person Specification:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience of working in a traffic office or logistics environment would be ideal.</li>
<li>Experience of the Waste Management industry would be beneficial.</li>
<li>Strong administrative background.</li>
<li>Highly organised with the ability to multi-task.</li>
<li>Confident use of all Microsoft Office programmes, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills.</li>
<li>Customer Service experience within a minimum of 1 year in a customer-facing or call centre environment.</li>
