You will be laser-focused on the management of Platform hardware and software delivery across all domains incorporating the needs of individual vehicle programs into the platform through the lens of optimized enterprise solutions.</p>\n<p>The Tech Platform Program (TPP) team will partner with the Core Tech Platform Program team, Electrical Architecture teams, Technical Program Management, and Vehicle Programs and be in lockstep with Connected Vehicle Software and Global Technology Strategy initiatives. You will be responsible for managing the following aspects of platform delivery across vehicle programs and throughout the Platform&#39;s lifecycle: Program Platform Deliverables, Timing, Cost, Investment, Quality, Resource Modeling, Hardware Bundle and Software Complexity, Feature Bundle Execution, Hardware complexity, Experience Delivery</p>\n<p>You will demonstrate a passion for changing Ford&#39;s approach to Electrical Tech Platform which is currently focused on vehicle-specific solutions to a cross-program Platform delivery. You will be paving a new road for how Ford Motor Company executes Electrical Platforms.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading the new working interaction model of how the FNV3.x Platform and Digital Design, Controls Strategies,</li>\n<li>Interfacing with platform applications, Design – Dgitial and Studio, Program Applications teams, Tech Strategy, Digital Prouct, and EVDD Functional Engineering Teams to deliver a platfrom Controls Strategy and Layout (previously CL&amp;U) for the Platfrom</li>\n<li>Coordinate cross-fuctionally to deliver a “platform” first overall strategy with low complexity, efficient implementation plans, while balancing the key design principles for best customer experiences</li>\n<li>Additional responsibility includes mernging the platform approach within the IVI teams and the FNV3.x structed develirables for platform milestones</li>\n<li>Be part of the solution to deliver exceptional experience with quality at the right time in the platfrom progression of FNV3.x.</li>\n<li>Leadership in the overall CL&amp;U Libraby of platfrom choices aligned with FNV3.x core platform</li>\n<li>Developing program management definition for platfrom milestones and design loops</li>\n<li>Supporting development of strategy plans for new Vehicle Program Cycle Plan – for both design</li>\n<li>Partnering with TPP Applications and Vehicle Programs to ensure balanced enterprise solutions with focus on Platform approach.</li>\n<li>Partner with Tech Strategy and the TPP Technical Features team to complete necessary scope and systems i/o anaylsis. Define impacts and reommendations for design strategies, switches, and IVI solutions.</li>\n<li>Managing Platform timelines, risk mitigation plans and cost/investment to ensure on-time and on-target delivery.</li>\n<li>Driving the cross-skill team delivery with the use of deisgn guardrails – to enable iterative design, while upholding the contraints needed to maintan implementation plans; ensure all platform soltuons are able to delivery with robustness. Reduce delivery risk.</li>\n<li>Navigating challenges related to vehicle development that impacts Electrical Platform foundational architecture principles and hardware/software complexity for vehicle life cycle.</li>\n<li>Driving awareness/transparency for new designs that will comprimse complexity.</li>\n<li>Coordinating software Platform initiatives that support Manufacturing efficiency and innovation.</li>\n<li>Developing complete plans for the a consistent Platform strategy across the EVDD teams with</li>\n<li>Catylize and support the priority of changes through the required Decision Forums (DFs): Architecture Change Control, Unified Backlog, Platform Change Control, Vehicle Program Change Control,</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent</li>\n<li>5+ years in system design or UX/IVI system development, or vehicle/unit program management</li>\n<li>Work hybrid (4 days in office) schedule between in-office (Dearborn or Palo Alto).</li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office product, JIRA – technical experience with VSEM and boundary diagrams a bonus</li>\n<li>Experience with Design and Engineering</li>\n<li>Experience delivering features from conception to launch, with the products delivering end-user experiences,</li>\n<li>Experience with Ford Global Product Development System (GPDS) deliverables and timing.</li>\n<li>Demonstrates positive teamwork ethics</li>\n<li>Experience with in-vehicle architectures and their roadmaps, constraints, and complexity. Including highly complex and distributed systems/features both on/off board</li>\n<li>Skilled in program management and planning, business strategy and product coordination.</li>\n<li>Experience with risk management techniques within the construct of Program delivery and Design to Platform selection</li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
