You will start from the customer&#39;s perspective using Cloudflare WARP and Cloudflare Tunnel, which are network and security-focused applications that enable secure communications between our customers&#39; devices and their private infrastructure.</p>\n<p>You will expand test coverage to additional Zero Trust products and services to close test gaps and increase coverage for full product validation.</p>\n<p>What you&#39;ll do</p>\n<p>As a Systems Test Engineer, you will own a variety of technical and product-focused responsibilities to ensure we deliver a high-quality security product.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate closely with fellow test engineers, PMs and development teams to understand all features</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Define and execute in-depth product test strategies for new and existing features</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist teams to quickly reproduce customer issues, test fixes and update tests to close coverage gaps</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Discover edge cases across Zero Trust products and partner with teams to find and validate solutions</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Regularly set up, configure, test, debug, and troubleshoot network-related features</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Create, maintain, and execute a suite of critical manual tests</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Leverage the automation framework to efficiently exercise functionality for faster feedback</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide methods to identify and reduce repetitive manual test runs while maintaining a high level of quality</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain a collection of physical devices and virtual environments for testing various scenarios</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Regularly report quality status to all stakeholders on key features</li>\n</ul>\n<p>What you&#39;ll bring</p>\n<p>We expect you to have a background in QA and hands-on experience with mobile and desktop device networking configurations across Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms. You&#39;ll understand how data is managed on each device and routed across public and private cloud environments.</p>\n<p>You will be adept at reviewing functional specifications, participating in technical design reviews and designing test scenarios and setting up physical and virtual environments to properly exercise all features.</p>\n<p>Your passion and curiosity for understanding how our services work will be crucial in debugging issues at all levels.</p>\n<p>Additionally, you should be adept at distilling complex scenarios into actionable reports and working towards resolution with development, product, and QA team members.</p>\n<p>Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with manual E2E testing of network-based apps, especially VPNs (e.g. DNS, protocols, throttling, packet loss, etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of L3 to L7 networking technologies (Major networking certifications are a plus)</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, QUIC, H/3 and proxying, routing, switching concepts</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of macOS, Windows, Linux, and mobile client (iOS, Android) platforms</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with testing device connectivity across networks (wired-to-wireless, cellular-to-wireless)</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong attention to detail for building test plans and analytical mindset when debugging issues</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience setting up and maintaining physical and virtual device environments</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Adept at finding edge cases and go beyond surface-level testing</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Consistently think of scenarios which could cause a poor customer experience</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient with running and interpreting traffic captures, gathering logs, and reporting test results</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience using one or more Mobile Device Management platforms (MDMs)</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Empathetic, proactive, and constructive communication skills, verbal and written</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Python to understand automated tests and framework capabilities</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop scripts to assist in testing and convert tests from manual to automated</li>\n</ul>\n<p>What Makes Cloudflare Special?</p>\n<p>We&#39;re not just a highly ambitious, large-scale technology company.
