      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are looking for a creative, execution-oriented Strategic Account Executive to join the team in Germany and maximise the phenomenal market opportunity that exists for Databricks within the FSI vertical.</p>
<p>As a Strategic Account Executive, you will focus on building relationships and closing new business opportunities within Germany&#39;s largest savings bank, and one of Europe&#39;s largest insurance groups with HQ in Hannover. You will be the Strategic Account lead, working with a dedicated account team supporting these highly key clients.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Taking full responsibility for your flagship accounts, defining a clear strategy and relentlessly driving it to exceed revenue and consumption goals.</li>
<li>Turning strategy into action, executing with urgency and discipline to consistently overachieve targets.</li>
<li>Building boardroom-level relationships, becoming the trusted advisor on all things data and AI for senior stakeholders up to and including the C-level.</li>
<li>Uncovering and shaping new business, expanding use cases and driving deeper platform consumption across your accounts.</li>
<li>Leading the full Databricks ecosystem, mobilising internal cross-functional teams to maximise impact and customer value.</li>
<li>Demonstrating compelling value in every engagement, leading confident, insight-led negotiations from discovery to close.</li>
</ul>
<p>Requirements include:</p>
<ul>
<li>A proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in complex, large-scale enterprise sales environments.</li>
<li>Recognised Banking/FSI domain expertise, with a deep understanding of the German regulatory, risk, and compliance landscape.</li>
<li>Proven success selling data, analytics, big data, AI, or highly technical cloud software through multi-stakeholder, multi-year enterprise cycles.</li>
<li>Ability to identify high-impact AI use cases and engage key buying centres to expand the Databricks footprint and strategic relevance.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of consumption-based, &#39;land-and-expand&#39; models to drive sustained growth within strategic accounts.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to create and shape demand by translating customer priorities into measurable business value.</li>
<li>Disciplined use of sales methodologies combined with accurate forecasting.</li>
<li>Experience building executive-level champions and leading cross-functional teams to execute against a defined account strategy.</li>
<li>Partner ecosystem experience extending reach and accelerating deal velocity within complex opportunities.</li>
<li>Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events, both regionally and internationally.</li>
</ul>
