<p>The Reliability Engineering team focuses on ensuring Robinhood’s systems are dependable, observable, and prepared to operate at scale.</p>
<p>The team works closely with infrastructure, platform, and product engineering partners to strengthen system performance, improve incident response, and reduce operational risk.</p>
<p>The work emphasizes clear processes, measurable reliability improvements, and consistent system behavior under changing conditions.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>As a Staff Technical Program Manager, Reliability Engineering, you will lead programs that improve how Robinhood detects, responds to, and learns from system incidents!</p>
<p>You will define incident management standards, guide response coordination, and ensure follow-up actions are completed to prevent recurrence.</p>
<p>You will also translate reliability strategy into clear execution plans, aligning senior engineers and leaders on priorities, risks, and measurable outcomes.</p>
<p>Your work will directly improve system uptime, response times, and operational clarity across engineering teams.</p>
<p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead incident management programs, including response processes, escalation paths, communication standards, and post-incident tracking</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Define and track follow-up actions after incidents, ensuring completion and measurable reduction of repeat issues</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Run a technical risk assessment program for the organization to ensure top technical risks are identified and appropriate controls are built.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Run Complex infrastructure related migration projects to build a solid pre-production testing discipline.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Provide clear updates on program status, risks, and system health metrics to engineering and product leadership</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Partner with engineering counterparts to establish reliability standards across the company like SLOs, CUJs etc.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What you bring</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>7+ years of experience leading technical programs related to infrastructure, reliability, or incident management in large-scale systems</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ability to understand system architecture, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and work closely with senior engineers on design and execution</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Experience building incident management or reliability processes that improved measurable outcomes such as uptime or response time</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to coordinate effectively during high-pressure situations</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Proven ability to organize complex work, manage dependencies, and deliver results across multiple engineering teams</li>
</ul>
