What you'll do

Contributing as a core member of the capability development team, designing, developing, testing, and documenting new features for the STK software platform.

• Investigating and resolving complex technical issues discovered by QA or product support, ensuring a robust and reliable user experience.
• Championing and implementing best practices in commercial software development, with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and performance.
• Working to reduce the backlog of existing bugs and driving architecture improvements for long-term product evolution.
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including PhD-level experts in aerospace, imaging, radar, and related fields, to deliver innovative solutions.

What you need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 2 years' experience or Master’s degree.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with Visual Studio development environments.
• Solid understanding of computer graphics, physics (with an emphasis on radiometry), and mathematical modeling.
• Experience with the commercial software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Familiarity with imaging systems, optics, detectors, electronics, and image processing techniques.
• Simulation experience, particularly in aerospace and defense applications, is highly desirable.
