You will collaborate with gameplay teams to ensure seamless integration between network systems and core gameplay.</p>\n<p>This is an onsite role in EA Shanghai Studio where you will report directly to the team Lead Engineer.</p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the server architecture design and implement features for real-time multiplayer gameplay</li>\n<li>Optimize server performance and network efficiency to minimize latency and packet loss</li>\n<li>Analyze and resolve gameplay and synchronization issues caused by latency spikes and unstable connectivity</li>\n<li>Collaborate with gameplay teams to ensure seamless integration between network systems and core gameplay</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in C++ with solid experience in Linux-based development, and at least 6 years of experience in real-time multiplayer games</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP, and real-time transport protocols) and hands-on experience with real-time networking and synchronization in online games</li>\n<li>Experience with frame synchronization (e.g., lockstep, deterministic simulation), state synchronization, or other real-time PvP gameplay systems</li>\n<li>Familiarity with backend infrastructure, including databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), caching (Redis), and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>About Electronic Arts</p>\n<p>We&#39;re proud to have an extensive portfolio of games and experiences, locations around the world, and opportunities across EA.
