If you are too, let&#39;s talk.</p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p>\n<p>As the Senior Manager for the Professional Services R&amp;D team, you will be a foundational leader responsible for building and guiding a high-performing team of software engineers. You will blend hands-on technical leadership with people management to steer the development of innovative, reusable assets. This role is critical to establishing the team&#39;s culture, setting technical direction, and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions that will have a significant impact on Okta&#39;s ecosystem. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the assets, from conception and development to maintenance and support.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Team Leadership &amp; Development: Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of talented software engineers. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship, career guidance, and regular performance feedback to your team members.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical &amp; Strategic Oversight: Partner with senior leadership to define the R&amp;D roadmap and strategy. Guide the team in architectural decisions and ensure the adoption of engineering best practices. Oversee projects to ensure they are delivered on time and meet our high-quality standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Project &amp; Resource Management: Manage the team&#39;s backlog and prioritise projects based on business impact. Allocate resources effectively to balance innovation, development, and maintenance of the asset portfolio.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with professional services delivery teams, partner alliances, product management, and engineering to understand requirements, gather feedback, and drive adoption of the assets your team builds.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Operational Excellence: Establish and refine the team&#39;s development processes, including agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and quality assurance standards.
