      <Description><![CDATA[<p><strong>What you&#39;ll do</strong></p>
<p>A Senior Calibration Engineer is responsible for the calibration and optimization of vehicle system control units (e.g., powertrain, ADAS, chassis, E/E, etc.) to meet legal and customer requirements. This role includes full responsibility for performing and evaluating calibration functions in various calibration environments (e.g., test track, test benches, software-in-the-loop environments, etc.).</p>
<ul>
<li>Responsible for the calibration of control unit functions of various vehicle systems (powertrain, ADAS, chassis, E/E, etc.).</li>
<li>Responsible for planning, performing, and evaluating calibration functions in different environments.</li>
<li>Responsible for documenting calibration parameters and measurement results.</li>
<li>Responsible for presenting results to the customer.</li>
<li>Responsible for developing and applying innovative methods and tools for calibration tasks in the project.</li>
<li>Technically leads individual employees in the project.</li>
<li>Responsible for training a calibration engineer during a project (including for BVC employees).</li>
<li>Supports the project manager and logistics in planning calibration activities.</li>
<li>Supports the creation of patent ideas, preparation, and implementation.</li>
<li>Independently develops action options for technical and budget deviations in the project.</li>
<li>Actively supports acquisition within the project to generate follow-up projects or PVRs/tickets.</li>
<li>Participates in tests and customer appointments.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What you need</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Completed apprenticeship as a car mechanic, mechatronics technician, or secondary college for technical education (e.g. HTL) degree in automotive engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or similar fields.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of thermodynamics concepts</li>
<li>Extensive experience in the application and validation of control unit functions.</li>
<li>Very good understanding of different vehicle systems (powertrain, ADAS, chassis, E/E, etc.).</li>
<li>English language skills (very good), local language skills (very good)</li>
<li>Enjoyment of communication and coordination.</li>
<li>Communication skills, team spirit, and interest in working in international teams.</li>
<li>Willingness to travel</li>
