At Bayer, we're seeking a Row Crops Site Unit Leader to join our team in Farmer City, IL. As a Row Crops Site Unit Leader, you will plan, direct, and coordinate all manufacturing activities at the plant to produce high-quality products at competitive costs while adhering to all safety and legal regulations.

\n

Your primary responsibilities will include fostering collaboration in a flat network of autonomous entrepreneurial squads, adding value by supporting Unit and squad development, driving a culture of innovation, and serving as an escalation point for task and project prioritization, problem solving, continuous improvement, and conflict resolution.

\n

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a BS in agriculture, an engineering discipline, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field with a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience, or a High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years of applicable experience. You will also need to have basic user knowledge of standard computer programs, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment physical.

In addition to the required qualifications, preferred qualifications include 5+ years' experience in managing and developing teams, leadership experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or the agriculture industry, and skill in leading, managing conflict, and negotiating with cross-functional teams.
