<li>Teaches patients/families/caregivers about any non-medicinal follow-up measures, such as healthy diet and exercise, disease prevention, and/or other lifestyle changes. Prepares patients and families/caregivers for future self-management.</li>

<p>What Qualifications You Will Need</p>
<ul>
<li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.</li>
<li>Current RN VA license or has a compact multistate license.</li>
<li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.</li>
<li>Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.</li>
<li>Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.</li>
<li>PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.</li>
