      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We&#39;re looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team at the Windsor Engine Plant/Essex Engine Plant. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for coaching team members on Safety, Quality, and Productivity, optimizing production throughput, and monitoring ANDON occurrences.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>

<li>Optimizing production throughput in alignment with budget and cost objectives.</li>
<li>Monitoring ANDON occurrences and serving as the initial responder for secondary support.</li>
<li>Verifying the production line&#39;s safe and smooth operation, and its output of quality parts, through Process Confirmation.</li>
<li>Supporting Kaizen initiatives and coaching problem resolution at the lowest possible level.</li>
<li>Meeting targets for First Time Through (FTT), inventory, cost, scrap, supply, and tooling expenses.</li>
<li>Building the capability of both Team Leaders and Team Members.</li>
<li>Creating a conducive work environment that enables teams to complete their assigned responsibilities and tasks.</li>
<li>Ensuring effective communication and recognition within the team.</li>
</ul>
<p>Requirements include:</p>
<ul>
<li>College Diploma or Skilled-Trade Certificate of Qualification (CofQ).</li>
<li>2+ years&#39; experience working in Production lines.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently with limited supervision.</li>
<li>Availability to work in shifts (morning/afternoon/evening) as required.</li>
</ul>
<p>Preferred qualifications include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#39;s Degree.</li>
<li>1+ years&#39; experience working with and supervising unionized workforce and understanding of CBA (collective bargaining agreement).</li>
<li>Experience in body shop, stamping, paint, subassembly, or machining preferred.</li>
<li>Safety and Quality experience preferred.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and constraint management principles.</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook).</li>
<li>Prior experience managing a unionized workforce.</li>
<li>Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining experience (specific to Power Take-Off).</li>
<li>Helium leak stand experience (specific to Power Take-Off).</li>
<li>Adept problem-solving and conflict management skills.</li>
<li>Effective organizational and administrative capabilities.</li>

<li>Experience working with and supervising unionized workforce and understanding of CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement).</li>
<li>Ability to work independently with limited supervision.</li>
<li>Availability to work in rotating shifts (morning/afternoon/evening) as required.</li>
</ul>
