<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead the triage of reported issues within the BluAI In-Vehicle application and its associated cloud components.</li>
<li>Conduct thorough and systematic root cause analysis for complex software failures, presenting detailed findings and actionable recommendations to development and cloud teams during daily review meetings.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Software Product Engineers (SPEs) to proactively identify potential failure modes for new features through comprehensive Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).</li>
<li>Ensure that identified failure modes are adequately addressed through robust test case development and alignment with overall test strategies.</li>
<li>Review and critically analyse QA test reports and results to identify patterns, critical defects, and areas for test process optimisation.</li>
<li>Partner closely with the QA team to refine test cases, establish clear preconditions, and define precise acceptance criteria to enhance the effectiveness of validation efforts.</li>
<li>Maintain and update critical quality documentation, including DFMEA records, issue tracking systems, and quality history.</li>
<li>Drive the creation of new test cases based on identified regressions, previously untested failure modes, and evolving product requirements to continuously improve test coverage.</li>
</ul>
<p>Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Proven working knowledge and practical experience with the Android Automotive OS ecosystem and its core components.</li>
<li>Demonstrated proficiency in system-level debugging for complex software, including expert analysis of verbose logcat output using command-line tools (e.g., ADB) and advanced code/text editors.</li>
<li>A track record of successfully performing comprehensive root cause analysis for intricate software failures across embedded and cloud systems, with the ability to clearly articulate the diagnostic process and propose effective, long-term solutions.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of asynchronous and concurrent processes, WebSocket cloud connectivity, WebRTC and applicable audio transmission protocols.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, cloud engineers, SPEs) and present complex technical findings clearly and concisely.</li>
<li>Familiarity with quality management systems and methodologies (e.g., Ford FMA, Quality History, Fish Bone Analysis, DFMEA, 8D/5D, Six Sigma).</li>
<li>Proficiency with issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps) and version control systems (e.g., Git).</li>
</ul>
<p>Preferred qualifications include experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, knowledge of voice assistant technologies, natural language processing (NLP), and speech recognition concepts.</p>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and releasing systems and components for multiple programs, delivering them with quality, and meeting and exceeding both internal and external customer expectations with regard to fit, function, and finance.</p>
<p>Join a dynamic and vibrant team of suspension engineers with a passion for delivering excellence. Have a direct impact on vehicle attributes (ride, handling, and NVH). Engage with multiple cross-functional teams (Body, CSE, Veh Eng, VO, Foundation).</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead development of cost, weight, and functionally efficient suspension components and systems</li>
<li>Collaborate with Ford Purchasing in the sourcing of new suspension components/systems, conducting supplier technical reviews to ensure the best source for the product from a functional and financial perspective</li>
<li>Deliver all program milestone requirements, especially in-plant dates, on time and with quality ensuring documentation is stored in the appropriate location per the records management process and parts are appropriately marked per the prototype or production material process</li>
<li>Manage changes to parts/systems and resolve all functional, durability, and assembly issues identified</li>
<li>Apply engineering disciplines including DFMEA, PFMEA, Requirements, Design Rules, Engineering Specifications, DVP&amp;R, Drawings, Control Plans and SCCAF</li>
<li>Ensure compatibility with interfacing systems and components including attaching hardware and joint design</li>
<li>Manage multiple suppliers and support Supplier Technical Assistance engineers in delivering production parts with quality. This would entail on-site visits with the suppliers to review their processes</li>
<li>Guide validation of suspension components/systems, reviewing test loads, set-ups, reports, and results for both internal and external testing at the vehicle, system, and component levels and reporting requirements in the Ford Engineering Design Environment</li>
<li>Lead Technical Design Reviews for each component/system at required milestones as well as multiple management reviews (Suspension Design Review, Suspension Significant Issues, Chief Engineering Matters Meeting, etc.)</li>
<li>Engage with Chassis Architecture, Chassis Systems Engineering, Vehicle Engineering (Vehicle Dynamics and NVH), Vehicle Evaluation and Verification, Vehicle Operations, and the Plant Vehicle Team to deliver robust suspension components and systems to final production that meet vehicle level performance requirements</li>
<li>Be on-site at the Ford manufacturing facility in support of pre-production builds and resolution of any issues that arise as production ramps up</li>
<li>Participate in Suspension Tech Clubs and the Foundation Design Review to influence requirements and design rule modifications and additions as well as to learn about new technologies and processes</li>
<li>Maintain quality of product once in production by supporting warranty reviews and working to ensure quality goals are achieved post Job 1</li>
