      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We&#39;re seeking a highly skilled fastener engineer to lead the department on joint design assemblies. These assemblies include Axles (Front &amp; Rear), Driveshafts, Halfshafts, Disconnect Devices, Transfer Cases, and associated components.</p>
<p>Deliverables for this role include leading Core activities such as peer reviews of fastened joint deliverables, Design Rule and Requirement authoring and ownership, Failure Mode Avoidance work, and general problem solving of ongoing issues.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Enhance the robustness and reliability of driveline products</li>
<li>Lead development and refinement of requirements</li>
<li>Correlate test methods to customer duty cycles</li>
<li>Oversee technical design review sign-off process</li>
<li>Maintain core documents</li>
<li>Detail oriented</li>
<li>Passion for excellence</li>
<li>Own Implementation of new Technical Design Review Process for robustness in signoff (Peer Review)</li>
<li>Maintain, improve and create Core documents with input from Tech Specialist - DFMEA, RCL, Boundary Diagram, Core DV, etc.</li>
<li>Develop Customer Correlated Duty Cycles for more meaningful component testing and improved reliability with input from connected data and TDE duty cycles team</li>
<li>Streamline requirements and core docs for engineering efficiency</li>
<li>Author new systems to components requirements cascade for more robust upfront design</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to navigate and thrive in ambiguous situations</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in uncertain environments</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders effectively</li>
</ul>
<p>Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum:</li>
<li>Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in fastening engineering</li>
<li>Preferred:</li>
<li>10+ years of experience in fastening engineering</li>
