Key responsibilities include analysing user requests, soliciting vendor proposals, negotiating pricing, reviewing agreement terms and preparing competitive events / RFPs as needed. Additionally, the Analyst will work with internal stakeholders and vendors to drive continuous cost and process improvements.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Formulate and deploy sourcing strategies and drive the negotiation of agreements for goods and services across multiple categories of spend including software, hardware, and technology equipment.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to develop best-in-class strategies to deliver value and minimise risk.
• Identify opportunities for consolidation of suppliers and ways to enhance relationships with existing suppliers.
• Extract and analyse data to support the identification of cost savings, process efficiency, and risk mitigation opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess industry trends.
• Drive process improvement and efficiencies within the system across the firm.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• Bachelor's Degree (business-related) and 3+ years of indirect procurement experience.
• Sourcing and procurement experience in technology category of spend.
• Familiarity with using generative AI tools to enhance efficiency.
• Driven, innovative, results-oriented and persistent with a positive attitude and high interest in problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to actively listen and engage in conversation to uncover relevant information and identify solutions.
• Quick learner, detail-oriented and strong ownership of work.
• Ability to establish working relationships with all levels of staff, management and vendors.
• Able to prioritise in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment; high sense of urgency.
• Team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others.
• Experience with Oracle or Procure-to-Pay systems and Tableau.

Estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
