The individual will be responsible for providing requisitioning, negotiating, and order placement services.</p>\n<p>Key responsibilities include analysing user requests, soliciting vendor proposals, negotiating pricing, reviewing agreement terms and preparing competitive events / RFPs as needed. Additionally, the Analyst will work with internal stakeholders and vendors to drive continuous cost and process improvements.</p>\n<p>Principal Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Formulate and deploy sourcing strategies and drive the negotiation of agreements for goods and services across multiple categories of spend including software, hardware, and technology equipment.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to develop best-in-class strategies to deliver value and minimise risk.</li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for consolidation of suppliers and ways to enhance relationships with existing suppliers.</li>\n<li>Extract and analyse data to support the identification of cost savings, process efficiency, and risk mitigation opportunities.</li>\n<li>Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess industry trends.</li>\n<li>Drive process improvement and efficiencies within the system across the firm.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualifications/Skills Required:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#39;s Degree (business-related) and 3+ years of indirect procurement experience.</li>\n<li>Sourcing and procurement experience in technology category of spend.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with using generative AI tools to enhance efficiency.</li>\n<li>Driven, innovative, results-oriented and persistent with a positive attitude and high interest in problem-solving.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.</li>\n<li>Ability to actively listen and engage in conversation to uncover relevant information and identify solutions.</li>\n<li>Quick learner, detail-oriented and strong ownership of work.</li>\n<li>Ability to establish working relationships with all levels of staff, management and vendors.</li>\n<li>Able to prioritise in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment; high sense of urgency.</li>\n<li>Team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others.</li>\n<li>Experience with Oracle or Procure-to-Pay systems and Tableau.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
