      <Description><![CDATA[<p>As a Process Coach, Paint, you will lead a team of Natural Work Group members responsible for pre-treatment-e-coat and e-coat preparation. Your primary objective is to achieve zero defects through standardising operations, motivating and supporting operators, and closely monitoring process parameters.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include: Conducting regular reviews with team leaders and operators to drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale, and environment. Developing and establishing e-coat preparation line balancing through time studies and implementing the Ford Production System (APT). Establishing and monitoring e-coat preparation and leading feedback issues resolution with the body and stamping shop. Developing and establishing e-coat surface preparation methods and training operators. Ensuring all elements of the Ford Production System are in place and implemented in the zone. Participating in quality system, reward and recognition, engineering change control, and other activities. Coordinating with cross-functional teams and supporting quality improvement. Developing and following PFMEA, control plans, procedures, SPCs, and check sheets. Establishing a robust training and development plan for e-coat operators to improve job versatility on an ongoing basis. Conducting regular meetings with suppliers to monitor bulk materials, consumables, and scrap cost metrics and ensuring they are within budget and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency. Participating in workgroup projects and supporting team members in executing improvement actions. Implementing common best practices followed by other Ford plants.</p>
<p>Qualifications include: An engineering degree in paint chemistry or a related field. At least five years of experience in paint shop operations. Ability to work on night shifts. Automotive paint shop experience. Preferably having exposure to OEM automobile plants in paint shops. Teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills. Leadership skills, including coaching, teaching, and developing highly motivated teams. Ability to lead and motivate teams towards delivering defined objectives, drive for results, and an attitude towards learning and developing teams. Computer skills for managing paint operations.</p>
