In this position, you will leverage your expertise in data-driven analysis to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across the company.</p>\n<p>You&#39;ll evaluate our existing portfolio by harnessing data-driven insights and quasi-experimental designs and use those findings to help shape tomorrow&#39;s pricing products. Your work will directly contribute to creating value for our customers and supporting the company in achieving its financial, regulatory, and customer satisfaction objectives.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the execution of pricing and rates focused data analysis and visualization</li>\n<li>Design and execute experimental (where feasible) and quasi-experimental research to study cause and effect relationship between pricing and customer behaviour</li>\n<li>Evaluate the effectiveness of current rate portfolio at the component level</li>\n<li>Support the provision of data to external requestors – including the PSC, third party consultants, and customers</li>\n<li>Take lead in special analysis requested by senior leadership</li>\n<li>Interface with internal customer data and analytics teams, advance pricing design principles, and represent pricing and rates interests</li>\n<li>Leverage New data and tools to automate processes, improve efficiency and deliver customer value</li>\n<li>Stay abreast of emerging industry trends and data analysis techniques for consideration</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.A./B.S. degree required in technical discipline such as computer science, information systems, engineering, data analytics, statistics or similar area</li>\n<li>Advanced degree and/or certifications a plus but not required</li>\n<li>5+ years of experience in regulated energy industry</li>\n<li>5+ years programming experience with SAS, SQL, R, Python, or similar language</li>\n<li>Understanding of cloud technologies, such as Databricks and Azure</li>\n<li>Proven record of experience working with large databases and use of statistical models for valuation and prediction.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of and experience with internal company data, data systems, and data sources preferred</li>\n<li>Experience managing and prioritizing across multiple assignments with multiple stakeholders</li>\n<li>Ability to pull, clean, and efficiently analyse large data sets identifying insights and patterns using traditional as well as predictive and prescriptive analytics</li>\n<li>High level of attention to detail with the ability to distill key insights and identify potential risks</li>\n<li>Outstanding problem solving and strategic thinking skills</li>\n<li>Strong communication and presentation skills required – both internal and external audiences including regular interaction with senior executives.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate behaviours consistent with Our Values: Safety First, Intentional Inclusion, Act with Integrity, and Superior Performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top:24px;font-size:13px;color:#666;\">XML job scraping automation by <a href=\"https://yubhub.co\">YubHub</a></p>","url":"https://yubhub.co/jobs/job_e6d9dafa-f52","directApply":true,"hiringOrganization":{"@type":"Organization","name":"Georgia Power","sameAs":"https://www.georgiapower.com/","logo":"https://logos.yubhub.co/georgiapower.com.png"},"x-apply-url":"https://emje.fa.us6.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/SouthernCompanyJobs/job/18392?utm_source=yubhub.co&utm_medium=jobs_feed&utm_campaign=apply","x-work-arrangement":"onsite","x-experience-level":"senior","x-job-type":"full-time","x-salary-range":null,"x-skills-required":["SAS","SQL","R","Python","Databricks","Azure","data analytics","statistics","regulated energy industry"],"x-skills-preferred":[],"datePosted":"2026-04-24T14:13:30.991Z","jobLocation":{"@type":"Place","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressLocality":"Atlanta"}},"employmentType":"FULL_TIME","occupationalCategory":"Engineering","industry":"Energy","skills":"SAS, SQL, R, Python, Databricks, Azure, data analytics, statistics, regulated energy industry"}]}
