As a PCBA Technician at Astranis, you'll work in a fast-paced environment supporting avionics, power, and payload systems. Your responsibilities will include reworking, assembling, and debugging printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), inspecting incoming boards to IPC-610 Class 2/3 standards, applying, removing, and reworking conformal coating, staking, and other polymeric adhesives, leading form components to match engineering footprints and drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to support new developments.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, 2+ years of experience working hands-on as a technician in the aerospace, automotive, or similar industries, electrical rework and soldering skills (0201 components), wire crimping and harness assembly, familiarity with precision calibrated tools (calipers, torque wrenches, etc) for enclosure assembly, excellent attention to detail, and being onsite 5 days a week. Bonus requirements include an A.S. electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering technology or equivalent technical programs, J-STD-001 certification, experience working in a clean room environment, experience working with electrical schematics and PCB design files, especially in Altium, and experience working with EE bench test equipment (power supplies, multimeters).
