Shifts: Monday to Friday Hours: 9 hours a day (anywhere between 6am - 5pm) Annual Salary: £30,139 - also a daily bonus up to £15 a day

As a Mobile Plant Operative, you will be responsible for operating Mobile Plant and Fixed Plant. You'll be trained on all mobile plant including Shovel Loader, Grab Loader and Telehandler in all aspects of production processes. You will be required to assist on the Weighbridge when needed. Conduct housekeeping duties and work within company H&S standards and procedures.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Operating mobile plant machinery such as loading shovels and telehandlers to handle and process waste materials safely.
• Conducting daily checks and routine maintenance on mobile plant equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
• Loading, unloading, and transporting waste materials across the site while following safety and environmental guidelines.
• Assisting in maintaining site cleanliness by keeping work areas free from hazards and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Following operational procedures and permit conditions when handling different waste streams to prevent contamination and ensure compliance.
• Identifying and reporting any machinery defects, malfunctions, or potential safety risks to the relevant personnel.
• Supporting waste processing activities, including sorting, shredding, and compacting, as required.
• Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and drivers to ensure smooth and efficient site operations.

Requirements:

• Mobile plant experience
• CPCS desirable
