YubHub-native raw fields carry `x-` prefix.","jobs":[{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","identifier":{"@type":"PropertyValue","name":"YubHub","value":"job_d6328b7c-42f"},"title":"Metrology Engineer","description":"<p>Job Title: Metrology Engineer</p>\n<p>Ensure the accuracy, reliability and continual improvement of measurement processes that underpin composite product quality at MCTC.</p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Programme, validate and operate CMMs and portable scanning systems, and introduce new measurement methods and technologies where appropriate.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan, conduct and report Measurement System Analyses (MSA) and gauge R&amp;R studies to verify measurement capability.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Produce, analyse and present Statistical Process Control (SPC) data to support proactive quality control and process improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the calibration, maintenance and lifecycle of gauges and laboratory measurement equipment (DSC, DMA, microscopes, rheometer, hardness tester).</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support NPI measurement strategy and provide measurement evidence (PPAP/FAI) to demonstrate launch readiness.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Design and Production to embed robust metrology practices across development and production activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain auditable documentation of measurement procedures, results and equipment records; support audit activity and compliance with quality system requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, Materials or related discipline, or demonstrable equivalent experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong experience programming and operating CMMs and portable scanning systems; practical familiarity with scanning arm systems such as Hexagon’s Romer Arm.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience conducting MSA/gauge R&amp;R studies and interpreting results to drive measurement improvements.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience producing and analysing SPC data and working with production and engineering teams to act on findings.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Practical experience in gauge management, calibration practices and equipment stewardship.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with lab equipment such as DSC, DMA, microscopes, rheometers and hardness testers is desirable.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of metrology software tools (Modus, PolyWorks, or equivalent) and statistical tools (Minitab or equivalent) desirable.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Personal Attributes:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Passionate, enthusiastic and committed, with a can-do attitude.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Effective communication and inter-personal skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Self-driven individual, who can also work within a team.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Self-directed/manged and motivated towards achieving goals.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent planning and organisations skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to build effective relationships and network locally, within the business.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Make complex issues clear and transparent.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to effectively influence, negotiate and use conflict resolution skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid Passport and Driving License.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Right to work in the UK.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Flexible approach to working.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Benefits:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Structured career development framework.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>25 days’ holiday, plus bank holiday.
