      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We&#39;re looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Commercial Systems team in Torrance, CA. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and integrating mechanical, thermal, and fluid systems on our electric and hybrid propulsion systems. Your work will involve a dynamic split between requirements gathering, specifications, CAD design, hands-on prototyping, analysis, in-field validation, and production support. You will also be responsible for interfacing with component suppliers, partner shipyards, and vessel operators, and traveling occasionally (5-10% of the time).</p>
<p>Our ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience owning complete mechanical systems from initial design through production and is ready to take full ownership of key systems. You should have excellent grasp of the fundamentals of Mechanical, Thermal, and Fluids Engineering, and functional knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage battery systems and power electronics. Experience with CAD software packages such as NX and modeling software such as Matlab and Simulink is also required.</p>

<p>We offer a base salary of P3: $150,000 or P4: $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
