Your responsibilities will include serving as the principal advisor on all matters involving the security of the systems under your purview, scaling our infrastructure by creatively implementing automated solutions, collaborating with fellow ISSMs, ISSOs, FSOs, and business stakeholders, creating and managing user-facing guides, POA&Ms, SSPs, ATOs, and other relevant USG documentation, integrating new hardware and software technologies into our USG infrastructure, and ensuring all requirements and implementation procedures are in accordance with the NISPOM, NIST SP 800-53, DAAPM, or other governing policies.

You will also manage relationships with upstream vendors and sponsors, perform user account provisioning, deletions, and general LDAP & AD maintenance, and familiarize yourself with using ELK or other SIEMS to build reports and visualizations to ensure monitoring, alerting, and auditing requirements are met.

Additionally, you will demonstrate knowledge of DoD cyber security tools such as Endpoint Security Solutions, ACAS, STIGs, and SCAP, and be willing to contribute across additional critical cross-team functions and projects, communicate effectively with a customer service-oriented mentality, and travel up to 10% of the time.
