This is a hands-on experience, which will allow you to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting and contribute to projects that significantly impact national security and maritime innovation.</p>\n<p>Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>Support the design and development of hardware and software systems for ASVs</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and refine ASV prototypes</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Ensure vessel designs support mission-specific operational requirements</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Document progress, prepare and write reports, and present findings to the team</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Work on manufacturing-related projects, aimed at improving efficiency, organisation, and scalability of our production processes</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Improve manufacturing floor layout and organisation</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Drive process improvement initiatives through time studies and workflow analyses</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Assist with database analysis for production tracking and planning</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Contribute to light tool and fixture design as needed</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualifications</p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor&#39;s or Master&#39;s program in Industrial Engineering or a related field</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Familiarity with manufacturing principles</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Familiarity with robotics, autonomy, or maritime and control systems</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Physical Demands</p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Occasional standing and walking within the office</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages)</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Additional Information</p>\n<p>This role requires access to export-controlled information or items that require &#39;U.S. Person&#39; status.
