      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We&#39;re looking for a Hardware in the Loop (HiL) Engineer to support product development and system integration processes. As a HiL Engineer, you&#39;ll develop test procedures for automated execution, implement tests using HiL equipment, document and review execution reports, report incidents/bugs, and track software updates to fix issues.</p>
<p>This role requires close collaboration with feature owners, engineering, and suppliers to develop a strong understanding of vehicle functions and implement appropriate test design strategies for early identification of defects and to provide evidence of defect elimination.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Single point of contact for the test organization and the feature owner, engineering team, and supplier</li>
<li>Manage the test project for the assigned features including integration/definition, scope/coverage, time, communications, and risk</li>
<li>Develop/expand testing scope</li>
<li>Support the tradeoff analysis of test requirements vs test environment capabilities to define test scope and instrumentation strategies</li>
<li>Analyze requirements, vehicle components electrical schematics, functional specifications, and DFMEA documentation</li>
<li>Design, maintain and execute test procedures in alignment with test design guidelines and strategy</li>
<li>Document test environment, automation, and vehicle variant management requirements</li>
<li>Implement and validate test environment, automation, and vehicle variant management solutions</li>
<li>Develop test procedures to validate the test environment (intake tests)</li>
<li>Analyze test execution results to generate reports, document incidents, and drive them to resolution</li>
<li>Troubleshoot vehicle systems and test environment functionality to minimize false positive incident reports</li>
<li>Implement continuous improvement strategies for test design, management, and execution processes</li>
<li>Document bugs</li>
</ul>
<p>Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent</li>
<li>5+ Years of experience in automotive software development or validations.</li>
<li>5+ Years of experience in software development life cycle - CMMI and agile process experience.</li>
<li>5+ Years of experience utilizing software testing or quality assurance methodologies</li>
<li>3+ Years of experience in validation support of dSPACE or NI HIL simulators</li>
<li>3+ Years of experience in dSPACE control and automation desk software.</li>
<li>3+ Years of experience in ADAS/DAT feature testing support</li>
<li>2+ Years of experience using Scaled Agile Framework SAFE implementing agile practices and setting up SW development workflows at an enterprise scale.</li>
</ul>
<p>Even better, you may have:</p>
<ul>
<li>Functional understanding of ASPICE SW development process and ISO26262 functional safety standard.</li>
<li>3+ Years of experience in distributed feature testing experience</li>
</ul>
