<li>Conduct detailed &quot;Should-Cost&quot; analyses by deconstructing vendor quotes into design, material, machining, and try-out components.</li>
<li>Negotiate complex commercial contracts, including milestone-based payment terms.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Tooling Refurbishment &amp; Life Cycle Management:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Technical Audit: Evaluate refurbishment requests for worn-out dies by analyzing toolroom reports, wear patterns (burr height, thinning, galling), and stroke-count data.</li>
<li>Financial Modeling: Perform &quot;Repair vs. Replace&quot; (NPV/ROI) analyses to determine the most cost-effective path for aging assets.</li>
<li>Scope Definition: Validate vendor overhaul proposals to ensure they address root-cause wear (e.g., replacement of bushings, re-cutting profiles, nitrogen manifold updates) rather than superficial repairs.</li>
