Manager role presents an opportunity to oversee and develop the day-to-day functions of general ledger accounting at a high growth leader in the digital asset space.</p>\n<p>This person will play a critical role in month-end close activities and help us build for scale and shift to a perpetual close model.</p>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></p>\n<p>Assist in managing and mentoring a team responsible for:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full-cycle accounts payable</li>\n<li>Month-end close activities for multiple legal entities, including journal entries, complex reconciliations and intercompany transactions</li>\n<li>Liaise with cross-functional partners throughout the business and external partners to creatively develop solutions that work for each stakeholder.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Apply advanced skills in Google Sheets to efficiently and reliably work with large data sets.</p>\n<p>Resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways, suggesting different potential approaches and adapting to new circumstances rapidly.</p>\n<p><strong>Complexity and Impact of Work:</strong></p>\n<p>Field ambiguous asks or ideas with creativity, independently applying judgment for reasonable decisions needed.</p>\n<p>Partner closely with team members to facilitate a timely month-end close, with a specific focus on corporate cash bookings, accruals, intercompany transactions, capitalized software, and stock-based compensation while maintaining a flow for day-to-day operations.</p>\n<p>Proactively suggest and implement improvements to the design and execution of new or existing processes.</p>\n<p>Assist with ad-hoc projects as they arise, while proactively communicating the impact to other in-progress projects and recurring responsibilities.</p>\n<p><strong>Organizational Knowledge:</strong></p>\n<p>Understand the strategy of Anchorage and contribute to planning and goal-setting exercises for the team.</p>\n<p>Investigate and resolve variances resulting from flux analysis and account reconciliations.</p>\n<p>Conduct comprehensive expense analysis and act as a key point of contact for the FP&amp;A team.</p>\n<p><strong>Communication and Influence:</strong></p>\n<p>Promote a positive working environment through proper listening, speaking, and empathy with team members.</p>\n<p>Embody and act as a role model for our culture pillars.</p>\n<p>Standardize and document processes with an intentional approach to create shared consciousness and eliminate single points of failure.</p>\n<p>Assist with internal and external audit processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.</p>\n<p>Ability to document and communicate accounting procedures in a way that accelerates repeatable, efficient processes.</p>\n<p><strong>You may be a fit for this role if you have:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>6+ years of relevant public accounting and/or industry experience in general ledger accounting.</li>\n<li>A proven track record of designing processes to operationalize and scale accounting processes.</li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to drive cross-functional projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.</li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task, thrive in the face of ambiguity and excel in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Although not a requirement, bonus points if:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>You’re proficient with NetSuite and other cloud-based accounting software.</li>\n<li>You have experience with system implementations.</li>\n<li>You&#39;ve kept up to date with the proliferation of blockchain and crypto innovations.</li>\n<li>You were
