Represent AVL with the highest level of professionalism.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Overall installation leader, working alone, or with skilled trades to complete Mechanical and electrical installation in an on time every time fashion.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Install and support mechanical and electrical installation and termination of field wiring and pneumatic/hydraulic systems. Verify against drawing.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Power up / troubleshoot equipment.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Final electrical quality inspection of equipment.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Initial system checks in preparation for commissioning.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Document discrepancies and feed back to engineering.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Troubleshoot and repair products and systems to AVL specifications following defined processes.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Professional and timely completion of service progress reports, expense reports and other administrative responsibilities as required.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Actively participate in developing one’s own training plan and exhibits ownership in completing training towards realization of selected diplomas and competency.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Provide feedback and improvement suggestions on troubleshooting guides and continuous improvement methods to increase operating equipment effectiveness (O.E.E.).</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Perform in-house repair, postproduction operation tests of new equipment as required.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Perform manufacturing shop floor tasks as assigned by manager.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Maintain a safe and clean work area in accordance with 5S standards.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>The ability to communicate with customers in a professional way and in the ability to independently describe, categorize, analyze and solve service requests and issues.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Ability to present informal operator instruction on AVL products and test systems.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Timely follow up on items and the ability to drive issues to closure.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Maintains assigned calibration equipment.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Complete all applicable safety training.</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualifications/Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>Associate’s degree in engineering or equivalent trade school.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Experienced reading / interpreting USA ladder and European IEC book prints.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>2+ years’ experience with test automation equipment and test bed operations.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Leadership/ coordinator experience.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Understanding of electrical and mechanical processes.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Knowledge of complete test cell operation and its contents is a bonus.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>The ability to cope with negative feedback from customers, exhibit patience and possess excellent listening skills.</p>\n</li>\n<li><p>Able to read / understand control circuits.
