<p>In this position, you will assist reviewing and binning early claims, support the Variability Reduction Team with statistical process control and data analysis, participate in conducting periodic job observations, and provide external and internal data checks for quality reviews.</p>
<p>You will also maintain health chart schedules and assessments, review quality leadership system charts for data accuracy and work group binning, perform subsystem checks as required, and learn control plans and verify data entry as required into web-based data management.</p>
<p>Additionally, you will assemble acceptance criteria visual aids for the VRT, maintain cycle line layout indicators with the assistance of the VRT, update and maintain the Quality Confirmation Map, and apply quality principles and analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products.</p>
<p>You will lead roles in resolving assembly-related concerns, lead variability reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives and best practices, and implement interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tools, 6-panel, etc.</p>
<p>Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
<li>Min 5 years Manufacturing Experience</li>
<li>Min 5 years Quality experience</li>
<li>Previous union experience</li>
<li>Previous data experience</li>
<li>Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal skills</li>

<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>Apply engineering principles &amp; analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products to ensure high-quality vehicles. Implement interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using the 8D tool, 6-panel, etc. Manage and direct statistical process control activities, knowledge of and ability to execute measurement systems analysis &amp; variable data analysis. Identify sources of variation within a production environment effectively and efficiently. Establish tolerance limits and facilitate appropriate corrective actions.</p>
<p>Provide input for design and assembly concepts that will yield nominal variations. Establish critical characteristics for gauging and measuring data collection methods. Determine inspection equipment and facility requirements. Support expedited concern resolution with cross-functional teams, including the Quality Department, Production, and Suppliers. Review internal/external suppliers for critical characteristics process compatibility. Review incoming quality concerns to maintain quality with the assigned area; must have experience with initiating containment, determining root cause, and implementing corrective actions.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<p>Education: High School Diploma. Experience: 5+ years of previous engineering or manufacturing operations experience. Demonstrated experience in accomplishing tasks and objectives. Proven problem-solving ability. Microsoft Office proficiency (Word/Excel/Outlook). Willingness to work all shifts/alternative work schedule as required. Willingness to travel locally as needed during launch.</p>
<p><strong>Even Better, You’ll Have</strong></p>
<p>Education: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field. Experience: Previous automotive and/or quality analysis experience. Proficiency in the use of problem-solving tools (Six Sigma, DOE, 8D, 5 Whys, etc). Effective oral and written communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to be self-directed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.</p>
