      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are looking for an experienced employment attorney for a 9-month maternity coverage period. You will report to the Global Employment Lead and work directly with People Experience business partners providing front-line and strategic support on a wide variety of employment-related subjects. This position is hybrid from our Guildford (UK) office, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.</p>
<p>Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the Global Employment Legal Team to ensure alignment and consistency in all regions where EA operates. You will act as primary employment counsel for EA&#39;s operations in Sweden, Finland, Romania, and Czechia, managing all types of day-to-day employment law matters, such as hiring, performance management and termination, wage and hour rules, disability accommodation, harassment, discrimination, and bullying, contingent worker issues, investigations, and related litigation.</p>
<p>You will also liaise with external employment counsel where necessary to manage litigation or obtain advice on specific issues in the above territories. Additionally, you will advise on employment or other workforce-related issues arising in transactions and other corporate arrangements in Europe and Asia. You will support several global employment projects from the employment perspective and collaborate with other members of the Employment team to support their EU territories, as necessary.</p>
<p>As a senior-level employment attorney, you will have a proven track record of working in an in-house legal department or law firm, with proficiency in applicable laws relating to employment matters in the relevant territories. You will have flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters, experience working cross-functionally with the business and legal teams, and partnering with all levels of management and able to manage numerous projects simultaneously.</p>
