We are seeking a skilled Electrical Drafter to create detailed schematics and harness assembly drawings based on specifications provided by engineers. \nResponsibilities:\nPrepare detailed harness assembly drawings using Zuken E3, ensuring drawings contain all!
information required for manufacturing and installation (wire lists, connector callouts, labels, notes).\nCollaborate with engineers to incorporate design requirements into drawings.\nReview and revise drawings to meet project specifications and standards.\nUse NX computer-aided design (CAD) software to route harnesses in 3D per design standards.\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of military and industry assembly standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620.\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting during the construction of a harness and its integration into the vessel.\nManage documentation and filing systems for drawings and project records.\nCommunicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:\nProficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as NX, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.\n5+ years' experience with Zuken E3, Siemens Capital, or other electrical schematic tools.\nStrong understanding of electrical engineering principles.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nAttention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.\nAbility to interpret technical drawings.\nKnowledge of relevant industry standards such as ABYC, ABS, and IPC/WHMA-A-620.\nPrevious experience in a similar role or industry.\nAssociate's degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.\nStrong mathematical and technical skills.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nOccasional standing and walking within the office.\nManual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.\nVisual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports.\nOccasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies.\nLifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages).
