In this role, you’ll be involved in the day-to-day operations of a global e-commerce business. You will play a key part in running our online store and supporting the launch of new initiatives. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating product launches and managing the product lifecycle on steelseries.com
• Monitoring order flow and inventory levels to ensure a smooth customer experience
• Managing promotional activities (on-site campaigns, discount codes, employee purchase programs, etc.)
• Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on marketing and sales activities
• Providing general support and maintenance of our e-commerce store in close collaboration with colleagues across functions

To thrive in this role, we imagine you recognise yourself in the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Online Marketing, E-commerce, Business Administration, or a similar field
• Around 3–4 years of experience in a similar role (including internships or student assistant positions)
• Experience with Contentful (or a comparable content management system) and hands-on online shop merchandising, including planning, configuring, and optimising product and content placements to drive commercial performance
• Knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) or a similar e-commerce platform is a plus
• Preferably some familiarity with the consumer electronics industry
• Solid skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail, with an analytical and task-oriented mindset
• Very good written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus

Role & Responsibilities

• Optimization of online marketing channels, such as SEO/SEA, affiliate programs, email marketing and social media.
• You are working on lowering the CPC (cost-per-click), increasing website traffic and generating new leads.
• Compliance and further development of the Global e-commerce strategy based on the budget.
• Identifying new profitable opportunities and routes for consumers.
• Support the operational management of the online store.

Operational Experience/Academic Qualification

• Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or proven work experience within an online store (experience with Shopify is an advantage);
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in e-commerce sales (consumer electronics or otherwise).
• Experience managing online operations in both start-up and more complex environments.

Personal Characteristics

• Responds quickly to customer/client requests and needs as a priority.
• You are social, communicative and have an excellent understanding of the English language, spoken and written (Dutch or Chinese is an advantage).
• You can run an online store independently and sales-oriented, have a proactive attitude, are problem-solving and think along with the consumer;
• Outgoing person who is capable of working with cross functional multicultural teams.
• Handles problems and acts on own initiative without being prompted.
• Seeks out and acts on both internal and external customer/client feedback.
