You&#39;ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety, environmental standards, and operator licences, while leading the team to deliver excellent customer service and continuous improvement.</p>\n<p>Your core responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working closely with a team of dedicated waste management professionals in an open and collaborative environment</li>\n<li>Meeting and exceeding KPIs while driving best practice in cost control, productivity, and continuous improvement</li>\n<li>Leading, developing, and inspiring drivers and staff to create a high-performing and supportive workplace</li>\n<li>Overseeing and coordinating all depot resources, improving operational productivity and service quality</li>\n<li>Taking full responsibility for the depot&#39;s profit and loss budget, delegating effectively to deliver consistent growth</li>\n<li>Building and maintaining strong relationships with local customers ensuring excellent and cost-effective service</li>\n<li>Setting clear objectives for operational staff, monitoring performance, and taking action to achieve results</li>\n<li>Influencing decisions, implementing new practices, and contributing to shaping the future direction of the depot</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This is a challenging role that requires a proven background in operations management, with a strong focus on leadership, communication, and customer service.
