<p>The Security Manager for EMEA and APAC plays a key regional role in executing Valvoline Global Operations&#39; (VGO) security programs across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.</p>
<p><strong>Job Accountabilities</strong></p>
<p><strong>Regional Security Operations</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead execution of VGO&#39;s corporate security programs in EMEA and APAC, ensuring alignment with global standards</li>
<li>Conduct physical security assessments at regional sites and support implementation of mitigation plans</li>
<li>Serve as a point of contact for local site teams on day-to-day security matters</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Incident Response &amp; Investigations</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support incident management, response coordination, and after-action reviews for security events within the regions</li>
<li>Partner with HR, Legal, and IT to conduct internal investigations when necessary</li>
<li>Maintain confidential documentation of incidents and resolutions</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Travel Risk &amp; Executive Support</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Monitor regional security threats and assist in travel risk reviews and protocols</li>
<li>Coordinate with global partners and executive teams to provide security guidance and logistical support during international travel or events</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Risk Management &amp; Compliance</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Evaluate regional risks and contribute to security risk registers and mitigation strategies</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with internal policies, local regulations, and best practices in physical security and duty of care</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Stakeholder Engagement &amp; Cross-Functional Support</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Build strong partnerships with local leadership, regional site teams, and external security vendors</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with the U.S.-based Security Analyst and global partners to support enterprise-wide initiatives</li>
<li>Support the implementation of security-related technology and tools across locations in region</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What You Bring to the Role</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)</li>
<li>6+ years of experience in corporate or regional security operations, ideally across multiple countries</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge of physical security best practices, incident response, and investigations</li>
<li>Experience working with international partners and adapting approaches across diverse regulatory and cultural contexts</li>
<li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and navigate a matrixed, global organization</li>
<li>Fluent in English; additional languages preferred</li>
<li>Willingness to travel across the EMEA and APAC regions as needed</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Working Conditions / Physical Requirements / Travel Requirements</strong></p>

<li>Occasional need for after-hours response to regional incidents or developments</li>
<li>Must be able to conduct physical site visits and assessments as needed</li>
