As a Compensation Analyst at Stripe, you will support Compensation Program Managers and Compensation Partners by providing data-driven insights and executing critical compensation processes. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders on teams such as Talent & Development, Global Equity Management, People Analytics, Finance & Strategy, and others.
\nResponsibilities:\nConduct detailed compensation analysis and modeling to support compensation program design, recommendations, and decision-making.\nPlay a critical role in our annual pay range benchmarking and review process.\nSupport Stripe's relationship with third-party vendors by ensuring data sets are comprehensive and current.\nDevelop and maintain compensation tools, dashboards, and templates to drive informed decision-making.\nCollaborate with People and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely compensation data and reporting.\nEnsure data accuracy and integrity by performing periodic audits in our HRIS (Workday).\nSupport the design and development of annual compensation planning programs.\nParticipate in research and analysis for new compensation policies and programs.\nManage and analyze complex datasets to distill insights and convey findings; build tools as required to improve efficiency.
\nRequirements:\n3-5+ years of relevant work experience in the compensation field.\nExperience developing and managing global compensation programs and processes, preferably in a high-growth, scaling, technology environment.\nStrong understanding of compensation best practices, current compensation trends, and market benchmark data.\nProven analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and truly in-depth knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets including building and maintaining complex models.\nExperience with programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Java).\nExperience communicating effectively across diverse teams, including translating complex ideas and quantitative insights into digestible information for leaders and employees.\nDeep commitment to excellent user experience, empathy, and discretion.\nFamiliarity with equity compensation programs and related compliance requirements.
\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong knowledge of Workday and/or Tableau functionality.\nExperience with Workday and the Workday Advanced Compensation module.\nExperience supporting equity compensation programs at a private or publicly traded company.\nHighly organized, with the ability to manage multiple high-priorities in a fast-paced environment.
