This role combines strategic program design with operational execution, ensuring Mercury can establish and run a CRA program aligned with regulatory expectations and a digital-first business model.</p>\n<p>You will define how Mercury shows up for the communities we serve, translating regulatory requirements into a program that is credible, measurable, and integrated into how we operate.</p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build and own Mercury&#39;s CRA program end-to-end, including policies, procedures, and governance framework</li>\n<li>Develop and execute against the CRA strategic plan, including coordination of internal partners and community organizations within the Bank&#39;s assessment areas</li>\n<li>Engage with Bank Leadership on CRA mapping on the applicability of Mercury&#39;s product offerings</li>\n<li>Own CRA reporting, delivering clear, credible updates on the Bank&#39;s CRA performance to senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders</li>\n<li>Maintain and update the CRA Public File in accordance with regulatory requirements</li>\n<li>Create training and provide guidance to bank staff regarding CRA requirements, community development opportunities, and regulatory expectations</li>\n<li>Manage CRA data integrity including CRA loans, Community Development loans, qualified investments, donations, and CRA service hours</li>\n<li>Maintain relationships with community organizations, economic development groups, and housing organizations to identify community credit needs</li>\n<li>Serve as primary CRA contact during regulatory examinations and independent audits; coordinate responses and corrective action plans</li>\n<li>Oversee the Bank&#39;s volunteer program to meet Strategic Plan commitments</li>\n<li>Identify and help evaluate community development opportunities, including grants, investments and lending significant enough to meet asset target goals</li>\n<li>Maintain records and documentation on all CRA activities and programs</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of demonstrated passion for and experience in CRA, and community development; digital banking* and/or strategic plan CRA experience preferred</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of CRA regulations and regulatory expectations</li>\n<li>Experience building or managing CRA programs in evolving or ambiguous environments</li>\n<li>Experience leading regulatory facing CRA examinations</li>\n<li>Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to influence without direct authority</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top:24px;font-size:13px;color:#666;\">XML job scraping automation by <a href=\"https://yubhub.co\">YubHub</a></p>","url":"https://yubhub.co/jobs/job_9103a0e9-b19","directApply":true,"hiringOrganization":{"@type":"Organization","name":"Mercury","sameAs":"https://www.mercury.com/","logo":"https://logos.yubhub.co/mercury.com.png"},"x-apply-url":"https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/mercury/jobs/5976613004?utm_source=yubhub.co&utm_medium=jobs_feed&utm_campaign=apply","x-work-arrangement":"onsite","x-experience-level":"senior","x-job-type":"full-time","x-salary-range":"The total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity (stock options), and benefits.","x-skills-required":["Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)","CRA regulations","regulatory expectations","digital banking","strategic planning","program management","cross-functional collaboration","influence without direct authority"],"x-skills-preferred":[],"datePosted":"2026-04-24T16:06:26.939Z","jobLocation":{"@type":"Place","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressLocality":"Salt Lake City, UT"}},"employmentType":"FULL_TIME","occupationalCategory":"Finance","industry":"Finance","skills":"Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), CRA regulations, regulatory expectations, digital banking, strategic planning, program management, cross-functional collaboration, influence without direct authority"}]}
