You&#39;ll help draft communications assets, create content for social media, support media relations and other things that come up – all while learning how a fast-growing aerospace company communicates with different stakeholders.</p>\n<p>This is a hands-on role where you&#39;ll work closely with our Marketing team to help tell the story of how Astranis is transforming the connectivity industry. You&#39;ll gain exposure to product launches, customer announcements, and media strategy, all within a fast-paced startup environment building technology that&#39;s launching into space.</p>\n<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Draft content for internal and external communications to support product launches and company milestones.</li>\n<li>Support media relations efforts by maintaining press lists, tracking coverage, and coordinating interview requests.</li>\n<li>Help create content for social media channels, including LinkedIn posts, graphics, and video scripts.</li>\n<li>Conduct research on industry trends, competitor messaging, and media landscape to inform communications strategy.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with Marketing team to gather information and ensure accuracy in external messaging.</li>\n<li>Monitor and track media coverage, compile news clips, and produce internal reports on press mentions and sentiment.</li>\n<li>Maintain internal communications resources, including media kits, fact sheets, and spokesperson briefing materials.</li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of case studies, customer testimonials, and impact stories that showcase Astranis&#39;s work.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently pursuing a bachelor&#39;s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, English, or a related field, or recent graduate (within 1 year).</li>\n<li>Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and formats.</li>\n<li>Interest in aerospace, technology, or defense sectors.</li>\n<li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.</li>\n<li>Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities can shift quickly.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) is a plus.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , able to work collaboratively across teams and ask good questions.</li>\n<li>Self-starter who can take initiative, work independently, and follow through on assigned projects.</li>\n<li>Can be in office 5 days a week.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Bonus requirements include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in aerospace, defense, or telecommunications industries.</li>\n<li>Understanding of and sensitivity to marketing across regions, languages, and cultures.</li>\n<li>Passion for space technology and connecting the world.</li>\n<li>Previous internship experience in communications, journalism, PR, or marketing.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top:24px;font-size:13px;color:#666;\">XML job scraping automation by <a href=\"https://yubhub.co\">YubHub</a></p>","url":"https://yubhub.co/jobs/job_1d45a88d-ee7","directApply":true,"hiringOrganization":{"@type":"Organization","name":"Astranis","sameAs":"https://astranis.com/","logo":"https://logos.yubhub.co/astranis.com.png"},"x-apply-url":"https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/astranis/jobs/4654168006?utm_source=yubhub.co&utm_medium=jobs_feed&utm_campaign=apply","x-work-arrangement":"onsite","x-experience-level":"entry","x-job-type":"internship","x-salary-range":"$29.00 per hour","x-skills-required":["communications","content creation","social media","public relations","writing"],"x-skills-preferred":["aerospace","technology","defense","marketing"],"datePosted":"2026-04-24T15:18:52.869Z","jobLocation":{"@type":"Place","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressLocality":"San Francisco"}},"employmentType":"INTERN","occupationalCategory":"Marketing","industry":"Technology","skills":"communications, content creation, social media, public relations, writing, aerospace, technology, defense, marketing"}]}
