      <Description><![CDATA[<p>Replit is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to be an early member of our sales team. This role will handle both inbound leads and outbound prospecting to build a robust pipeline for our Account Executives. The ideal candidate will have some technical experience, such as basic coding knowledge or prior experience at developer tool companies.</p>
<p>This position plays a crucial role in our go-to-market strategy, identifying and qualifying potential customers across all segments from SMB to Enterprise. You&#39;ll be the first point of contact for many prospects, setting the tone for their Replit experience.</p>

<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<p>Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through both inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospecting activities</p>
<p>Research target accounts and create personalized outreach strategies to engage potential customers</p>
<p>Evangelize a future where anyone can create software in natural language, ushering in a change in the nature of the firm on par with the PC era</p>
<p>Articulate Replit&#39;s value proposition and align it with customers&#39; business challenges</p>
<p>Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified prospects and Account Executives</p>
<p>Maintain accurate prospect data and activity logging in Replit&#39;s CRM (Hubspot)</p>
<p>Collaborate with marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness</p>
<p>Continuously refine outreach approaches based on performance data</p>
<p>Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly qualification quotas</p>
<p>Required skills and experience:</p>
<p>0-2 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or similar customer-facing role</p>
<p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p>
<p>Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail</p>
<p>Resilience and persistence in the face of rejection</p>
<p>Ability to quickly learn and articulate the value of new technologies</p>
<p>Experience with or willingness to learn CRM systems and sales tools (e.g., Hubspot, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Clay, SmartLead)</p>
<p>Strong listening skills and ability to identify customer pain points</p>
<p>Passion for technology and staying current with industry trends</p>
<p>Experience with or strong interest in AI and machine learning is a plus</p>
<p>Nice to have:</p>
<p>You&#39;re an active Replit user</p>
<p>You&#39;ve worked at an early-stage startup or in developer tools</p>
<p>Basic understanding of software development or coding concepts</p>
<p>Experience with multi-channel prospecting (email, phone, social)</p>
<p>Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)</p>

<p>You&#39;re uncomfortable with a fast-paced startup environment where priorities may shift quickly</p>
<p>Note: This role will begin as remote, with plans to transition to a hybrid model once we establish a local office presence.</p>
