You'll work alongside product manager, developers, UX designer, and game production teams to bring esports features to life , both inside the game and across our digital platforms (r6esports.com, esports data platform, etc.).

We're seeking an experienced Intermediate to Senior Backend Developer who will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance APIs and services that power our esports ecosystem.

These APIs provide live data and statistics consumed by:

• External partners
• Analysts and casters
• In game esports features
• Tournament organizers
• Community tools
• Internal data analysis and reporting systems

Your work will directly support player facing experiences as well as internal decision making and analytics, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and data accuracy.

Qualifications

What you'll bring

• Strong experience designing and building backend APIs and services in .NET Core
• Solid knowledge of C# and modern backend development practices
• Strong experience with Entity Framework Core (data modeling, performance, migrations)
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL
• Experience with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB
• Familiarity with AWS environments (deployment, cloud services, monitoring, or infrastructure basics)
• Demonstrated experience working with live or near real-time data, optimizing performance-sensitive systems, or developing data-intensive applications.
• Good understanding of API design, versioning, documentation, and security
• Experienced with unit and integration tests
• Comfortable working in cross functional teams and communicating clearly in English (spoken and written); French is a plus
• Interest in Esports or Sports is a strong plus and will help you better understand our context and users
