What you'll do

• Selection of a suitable measurement principle for NO and NO2 (collectively referred to as NOx)
• Design of a measurement prototype based on calculations and simulations
• Development and production of the prototype in collaboration with AVL DiTEST
• Laboratory characterization using gas mixtures and comparison with a reference device
• First field tests of the prototype to measure vehicle emissions

What you need

• Motivation and interest in developing instruments to measure air quality and emissions
• Basic knowledge in mathematics, physics, and electronics
• Current enrollment at the TU Graz
