The Cloudflare Associate Solution Engineering Program is a 12-month rotational experience designed to launch your career in pre-sales engineering. You'll combine technical depth, customer problem-solving, and business acumen to make Cloudflare's technology accessible and valuable for customers across Asia-Pacific.

Responsibilities

• Shadow customer calls and technical deep-dives with Enterprise and Strategic accounts
• Build and deliver product demonstrations tailored to customer use cases (web security, performance, serverless computing)
• Participate in workshops on Cloudflare technologies: Workers, Zero Trust, DNS, DDoS mitigation, WAF
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to solve customer technical questions
• Document customer requirements and translate them into solution architectures
• Rotate between GCR, ANZ, and ASEAN customer teams every 4 months
• Contribute to internal tooling, demo environments, or solution accelerators

Requirements

• Have graduated within the past 2 years (or have equivalent demonstrated technical experience through boot camps, self-study, or professional work)
• Can explain core networking concepts (e.g., how DNS resolution works, what happens when you visit a URL, difference between TCP/UDP)
• Are available to start in July 2026 and commit to 12 months including regional rotations
• Communicate fluently in English (written and verbal)
• Can manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines
• Are authorized to work without sponsorship

Nice to Have

• Internship or project experience in a customer-facing, consulting, or technical sales environment
• Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Bahasa Indonesia (for serving regional customers)
• Scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, Bash, or similar
• Hands-on experience with web technologies: HTML/CSS/JS, HTTP APIs, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Demonstrated ownership of technical projects (GitHub portfolio, conference talks, open-source contributions)

Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade security solutions including CASB, SSPM, WAF, firewalls, and email protection across global environments. Integrate and implement network security solutions, ensuring seamless operation and compliance with Zero Trust security principles. Enforce CMMC regulations, technical data controls, and export authorization rules, including U.S. person-only access restrictions for controlled systems and datasets. Conduct and support external audits, internal reviews, and compliance assessments related to CMMC and other regulatory frameworks. Research, evaluate, pilot, and implement new security solutions at a global enterprise scale, collaborating with vendors and stakeholders. Solid understanding of Zero Trust security principles and architectures. Deep knowledge of CMMC regulations, technical data controls, and export authorization rules. Experience enforcing U.S. person-only access restrictions for controlled systems and datasets. Experience with external audits, internal reviews, and compliance assessments. Broad experience securing cloud implementations (AWS, GCP, Azure) and offensive security domains. Hands-on experience with Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks, ProofPoint, and other leading security platforms. Relevant certifications (CEH, CISSP, GIAC, OSCP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Security+) preferred. US citizenship or Green Card required.
