YubHub-native raw fields carry `x-` prefix.","jobs":[{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","identifier":{"@type":"PropertyValue","name":"YubHub","value":"job_4a2244d2-07c"},"title":"Manufacturing Engineer - Sydney","description":"<p>Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer - Sydney</p>\n<p>We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with a Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering background to join our team in Sydney, Australia.</p>\n<p>As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will leverage deep technical expertise to solve complex manufacturing challenges, drive technology insertion, and ensure the manufacturability of next-generation products from the earliest stages of design.</p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide expert Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) feedback, influencing designs to ensure they are compatible with capable and cost-effective manufacturing processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyze engineering drawings, material selections, and tolerance stacks to identify and mitigate manufacturing risks early in the product lifecycle.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Investigate and resolve production line-down situations, assembly problems, process deviations, and tooling issues to minimize downtime and maintain schedule.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide clear and concise interpretation of engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to the production team.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop, maintain, and continuously improve detailed manufacturing work instructions, assembly guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure clarity, repeatability, and quality.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage these requirements within Anduril’s MES.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as the technical lead for investigating complex or systemic production issues, conducting deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify fundamental process flaws.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop novel tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly of structural parts.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assess the process impact of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and define the necessary requalification and validation activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support to Supply Chain in the technical qualification and development of critical suppliers, assessing their process capabilities to meet demanding engineering requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate on the design and optimization of workstation and production line layouts to enhance ergonomics, safety, and efficiency.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and team engagement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment (e.g., aerospace, defense, medical device, complex electronics).</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven ability to troubleshoot technical manufacturing issues and lead root cause analysis.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications, including a strong understanding of GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with operators, technicians, and senior management.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior knowledge and interaction with a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for production operations</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior knowledge of Oracle (ERP), Teamcenter (PLM) or similar systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance (NV2).</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Production line design and set up including Value Stream Mapping, material flow, workstation and tooling design.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with work instruction authoring and MBOM configuration.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with CAD software (NX, Solidworks, Siemens/Teamcenter)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Salary Range: An estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
