<p><strong>Main tasks</strong></p>

<li>Collaborate within the vehicle performance group and analyse / monitor the vehicle performance during tests and race events.</li>
<li>Assist to optimise the car performance in the areas of regeneration, suspension, brakes, tires and driver performance.</li>
<li>Provide reports on vehicle performance to the technical director, engineers and drivers.</li>
<li>Assemble concise and accurate reports in regards to vehicle performance during the event activities and afterwards as post-analysis.</li>
<li>Perform duties in regards to calibration.</li>
<li>Improve the work environment with perfect planning, communication and organisational skills</li>
<li>Apply your administrative skills and show a precise approach towards documentation and reporting.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Master&#39;s or Bachelor&#39;s Degree in Mechanical, Electronic or Automotive Engineering or similar background.</li>
<li>Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Performance Engineering / Data Analysis in the motorsport industry.</li>
<li>Proven skills in Wintax, preferably with experience in scripting, on a proficient level.</li>
<li>Well organised approach and ability to handle pressure under pace.</li>
<li>Good understanding of vehicle dynamics.</li>
<li>Analytical understanding and reporting skills via given analytical tools.</li>
<li>Advanced experience of MS Office.</li>
<li>A flexible approach to working hours and tasks is essential.</li>
<li>Show a high commitment to extensive travel and perform with a high sense of self-motivation.</li>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Race Engineer</strong></p>
<p>Team WRT is seeking an experienced <strong>Race Engineer</strong> for the upcoming LMDh project. This position will require extensive travelling to all race, test and simulator events related to the LMP project.</p>
<p>_General Summary_</p>
<ul>
<li>Participate at races, testing &amp; simulator work;</li>
<li>Liaise and work with other engineering colleagues transversally across the programs to share methodology and know-how which would remain intellectual property of WRT;</li>
<li>Share information and proactively promote the development of the LMP Engineering Workgroup;</li>
<li>Report to the LMP Program Manager and in matrix to the Engineering Group;</li>
<li>Manage the daily engineering operations on his car including those of his car-crew in conjunction with the Crew Chief;</li>
<li>Have the ability to set priorities in function of the workload and the race programs;</li>
<li>Promote high-standards and quality of service and team spirit in the workforce (“Best in Class”);</li>
<li>Be respectful of his colleagues and team-members, help to coach, empower and develop others</li>
<li>Work in tight collaboration with the performance engineer in his team</li>
<li>Collaborate with and/or lead Engineering Workgroups dedicated to development of soft-tools (eg, simulation and strategy tools) and hard-tools (eg., pit-equipment optimization, driver simulator) for improving performance of car and team (transversally across the different sporting programs)</li>
</ul>
<p>_Knowledge and skills:_</p>
<ul>
<li>Multiple-year motorsport (preferably in high-level categories such as DTM (class 1), F1/F2, LMP2, Hypercar, DPI) experience and a strong technical background and experience and knowledge of racing cars.</li>
<li>Previous WEC championship experience a bonus</li>
<li>Hands on approach with a flexible “Can Do” &amp; “Will Do” attitude</li>
<li>Flexible with workload and tight deadline</li>
<li>Solid knowledge of English required, notions of German considered as a bonus</li>
<li>Pro-active problem solver</li>
<li>Strong communicator, strong organizational and planning capacities</li>
<li>Strong team-player and strong interpersonal skills, motivated to reach goals and objectives of the team</li>
<li>Strong computer skills in data analysis software (WinTAX, Pi Toolbox ideally), MS Office &amp; VBA, Matlab a plus</li>
<li>Ability to perform under stressful conditions at any time</li>
<li>Flexibility for travelling</li>
