<p>This is a great way to start your career in the industry as well as gaining a qualification. The course is Engineering Operative Level 2. You would be contracted to work Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. The apprenticeship training provider will come on site every couple of weeks to provide the theory side of your course. The duration of the apprenticeship is between 18 and 24 months.</p>

<p>Paint Apprenticeship - Job Description</p>
<p>Learning to paint as part of the manufacturing process ensuring required standards of quality are met. This role is part of an apprenticeship scheme which will lead to a qualification or company standard approval process. You will learn to work to strict safety and quality requirements, help to achieve daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity, optimising efficiency and maintaining operational excellence.</p>
<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Ensuring you are using the correct material and tools.</li>
<li>Ensuring finished parts do not have defects before shipping forward.</li>
<li>Adhere to all requirements for hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal.</li>
<li>Follow work instructions.</li>
<li>Understanding the paint processes required to achieve a high paint standard.</li>
<li>Quality checks on completion.</li>
<li>Production of high-quality parts within set time periods.</li>
<li>Meeting the customer requirements.</li>
<li>Adherence to PPE requirements - Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment</li>
</ul>
<p>Skills you will learn:</p>
<ul>
<li>How to spray paint and troubleshoot problems</li>
<li>Flatting, polishing and rectification of painted parts.</li>
<li>Preparation of raw parts for primer</li>
<li>Preparation of primer for topcoat</li>
<li>Confidence in using all the necessary tools and equipment to achieve a finished painted part.</li>
<li>Removing any imperfections from the paint finish.</li>
<li>Carbon fibre prepping for visual and coloured finish.</li>
<li>Able to remove shape issues from a panel to give a flat surface.</li>
<li>Able to use filler for pinholes and voids.</li>
<li>Masking and cleaning for spraying</li>
</ul>

      <Title>Senior Scientist, Lab Operations Manager</Title>
      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are seeking a Senior Scientist, Lab Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for facilitating lab supply ordering, restocking, and inventory management. You will also coordinate lab equipment repair, purchasing, annual service, and preventative maintenance contracts. Additionally, you will manage vendors for supply of dry ice, gas, PPE, and waste disposal. Your duties will also include liaising with site IT to manage instrument data backup and application support, coordinating domestic and international shipping with couriers, lab employees, and receivers, obtaining import/export permits as needed. You will interface with building management and business operations to request facilities work orders, HVAC servicing, space scheduling, and report lab janitorial issues. You will also maintain remote alarm systems for critical storage units and be capable and willing to respond to critical alerts outside normal business hours. Furthermore, you will partner with local EHS consultant and Global AZ SHE to create and maintain a workplace health and safety program according to federal, state, and local requirements. You will perform annual review of EHS documentation and signage, updating as needed. You will be the primary coordinator of fire safety training and fire drill management. You will submit annual hazardous waste summary and additional reports as needed through the EPA&#39;s RCRA reporting system. You will also submit lab permit (HMIS) application and renewal to Seattle Fire Department. You will conduct periodic reviews of chemical inventory, PPE hazard risk assessment, biological hazards risk assessment, and other risk assessments as needed.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor&#39;s degree in a scientific discipline or related area and 10+ years of experience in lab and facilities management within the pharmaceutical, biologics, or other related industries. You will have demonstrated knowledge of administrative management practices and procedures, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. You will also have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, be a team player with great people skills, and have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).</p>
