This is a senior individual contributor role with high visibility to executive leadership and potential to build a team as we scale. This is a rare opportunity to build product finance infrastructure from the ground up and directly shape how we allocate capital across our evolving product suite.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as the primary finance partner to the CTO organization (Product, Engineering, R&amp;D), embedded in planning, prioritization, and major investment decisions</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead business cases and driver-based models for new product launches, major feature investments, and launch readiness, including revenue potential, COGS impact, and margin outcomes.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support investment gate materials (scenarios, sensitivities, and risks) and make recommendations for leadership.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Define and operationalize KPIs for evaluating product performance: unit economics, SKU-level profitability, pricing sensitivity, and contribution margins across our evolving product portfolio</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with Engineering leadership to understand and forecast key cost drivers (compute, infrastructure, vendor costs) and translate them into financial planning assumptions</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead annual planning and forecast cadence for the CTO org: budget, headcount, prioritization, and productivity assumptions.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with Product and GTM on pricing/packaging for new and existing offerings, ensuring value delivery aligns with value capture and cost structure</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with Analytics and DevOps to define KPIs and ensure adoption of reliable reporting (clear definitions, single source of truth, decision-ready dashboards).</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the CFO and executive leadership on strategic initiatives</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>10+ years in Strategic Finance, FP&amp;A, Investment Banking, or management consulting (MBB)</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience supporting technical organizations and influencing executive decisions in ambiguous environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong driver-based modeling skills; ability to structure ambiguous problems and communicate trade-offs clearly</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced Excel/Sheets and comfort with BI tools (Looker, Omni, Tableau, etc.); SQL is a strong plus</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills with senior technical and GTM stakeholders, as well as non-finance audiences</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Track record of operating in fast-paced, high-growth, VC-backed environments</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Strongly Preferred</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of cloud infrastructure and variable cost structures</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior exposure to multi-product portfolio management and product-led growth motions</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience scaling finance processes through periods of rapid organizational growth</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Product intuition and curiosity – you ask &#39;why&#39; and understand what drives product decisions</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top:24px;font-size:13px;color:#666;\">XML job scraping automation by <a href=\"https://yubhub.co\">YubHub</a></p>","url":"https://yubhub.co/jobs/job_4f65c64f-24f","directApply":true,"hiringOrganization":{"@type":"Organization","name":"Synthesia","sameAs":"https://www.synthesia.io/","logo":"https://logos.yubhub.co/synthesia.io.png"},"x-apply-url":"https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/synthesia/d5dc6cd0-d8da-43cd-8741-44f45ba5dbec","x-work-arrangement":"remote","x-experience-level":"senior","x-job-type":"full-time","x-salary-range":"$200 million Series E funding round, $4 billion valuation","x-skills-required":["Strategic Finance","FP&A","Investment Banking","Management Consulting","Excel","BI tools","SQL","Communication","Stakeholder Management"],"x-skills-preferred":["Cloud infrastructure","Variable cost structures","Multi-product portfolio management","Product-led growth motions","Scaling finance processes","Product intuition"],"datePosted":"2026-03-06T18:31:58.494Z","jobLocation":{"@type":"Place","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressLocality":"Europe"}},"jobLocationType":"TELECOMMUTE","employmentType":"FULL_TIME","occupationalCategory":"Finance","industry":"Technology","skills":"Strategic Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Excel, BI tools, SQL, Communication, Stakeholder Management, Cloud infrastructure, Variable cost structures, Multi-product portfolio management, Product-led growth motions, Scaling finance processes, Product intuition"}]}
