<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Engineer high-quality, reusable code to develop dynamic user interfaces across multiple platforms</li>
<li>Enhance testing frameworks, improve test automation, and foster software craftsmanship</li>
<li>Surprise and delight customers and partner engineers with elegant, performant solutions</li>
<li>Monitor and evaluate the performance and reliability of our applications</li>
<li>Collaborate with multi-skilled teams on commercial and fleet software solutions</li>
<li>Practice Test-First and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies</li>
<li>Build and integrate cloud-native services using cutting-edge technologies and Ford enterprise systems</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent OR a combination of education and experience</li>
<li>3+ years of front-end development experience</li>
<li>3+ years with object-oriented languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, C#)</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with modern relational and non-relational databases</li>
<li>1+ years developing and deploying on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)</li>
<li>Proven expertise building web UIs with React.js, Angular, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript</li>
<li>Proficiency debugging with modern tooling</li>
<li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Terraform)</li>
<li>Familiarity with end-to-end test automation frameworks</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Even better, you may have:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field</li>
<li>Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles</li>
<li>Experience with eXtreme Programming (XP) practices: Pair/Mob programming, TDD</li>
<li>Background with Spring/Spring Boot and RESTful web-service development</li>
<li>Exposure to machine learning, mathematical modeling, or data analysis</li>
<li>Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases</li>
<li>Comfortable using Agile tools (Jira, backlogs, user stories, sprints)</li>
<li>Proven ability to partner with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and business stakeholders</li>
<li>In-depth React.js expertise (Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, Flux) and front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)</li>
<li>Experience with performance testing frameworks (Mocha, Jest)</li>
<li>Passion for pair programming and collaborative code review</li>
<li>Strong fundamentals in data modeling</li>

<p>Key responsibilities:</p>
<p>Ship world-class AI applications that delight consumers with an emphasis on craft, quality, trust, and positive user and societal impact</p>
<p>Own an entire product area and be responsible for understanding user needs and behaviors, defining product requirements, managing end-to-end product development, launches and iterations</p>

<p>Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering to ensure details make it to the hands of the user</p>
<p>Experience that demonstrates proven ability to advocate for design thinking, influence design outcomes, discover problems and tackle them in fast-paced and ambiguous environments</p>

<p>Experience with diving into research and leveraging both qualitative and quantitative signals for design impact</p>
