The ideal candidate will combine deep knowledge of commercial and defense contracting with strong negotiation skills and a passion for supporting national security through technological innovation. The position will be responsible for providing contract support for various CPFF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ Government (FAR/DFARS) contracts, Other Transaction Agreements, and commercial contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute contract management throughout the life of each contract.
• Complete contract review and acceptance.
• Oversee and prepare contract proposal planning and management and support preparation of proposals.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
• Assist in identification, development, and implementation of new contract policies and processes.
• Maintain comprehensive contract documentation and compliance records.
• Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with government and company requirements.
• Provide program managers and executives with contract briefs during the life of contracts.
• Provide guidance on FAR/DFARS requirements and other regulatory considerations.
• Cultivate strong, ongoing relationships with internal/external customers.
• Provide contractual guidance and risk mitigation strategies for contractual and business obligations.
• Negotiate complex contractual terms with federal agencies, prime contractors, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, government, or a related field.
• Experience with full life cycle contract management for CPFF, FFP, and T&M government and commercial contracts.
• A strong working knowledge of US Government contracting including FAR/DFARS experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with U.S. DoD major weapons platforms.
• NCMA Certifications including but not limited to CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM.
• Graduate degree in business, law, government, or a related field.
• Experience with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), FAR cost allowability rules, and Certified Cost or Pricing Data Proposals.
• Secret or Top Secret Clearance.

Required qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred) with 10-15+ years of progressive experience in procurement/supply chain, including significant exposure to defence or munitions programs or Aerospace Programs. Proven experience sourcing and negotiating for munitions or defence-related commodities, with a strong understanding of constrained supply markets, sole-source environments, and lifecycle requirements. Demonstrated expertise in ITAR, EAR, DFARS, and US government contracting requirements, including experience working with export-controlled materials and compliance frameworks. Experience leading teams or influencing cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, legal, finance, program management) in a matrixed environment to achieve business objectives. Strong capability in cost analysis, should-cost modelling, and data-driven decision-making to optimise supplier performance and total cost of ownership. Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance, depending on program requirements.

Salary: $160,000 - $240,000 a year.
