• Architecting, writing, and debugging Siemens PLC code
• Integrating internal and external FactoryOS software into automation equipment and production lines

• Installing, configuring, and tuning servo drives/VFDs

Required qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in controls and automation in a production environment
• Strong skills in Siemens PLC programming (Ladder and Structured Text)
• Proficiency in servo drive and VFD configuration, PID tuning, STO/SS, etc.
• Strong knowledge of ethernet-based communication protocols (ProfiNET, ProfiSAFE, Ethernet IP.)
• Proficiency with electrical component selection and a solid foundation of wire sizing, circuit protection, and heat management in control cabinets
• Experience integrating with SCADA and OT Networking

Preferred qualifications include:

• 10+ years of experience in controls and automation in a production environment
• Experience working in an energetics facility
• Experience with control panel layout, electrical component selection, and cable routing
• Electrical troubleshooting up to 600VAC
• TUV FS Engineer certification (Functional Safety of Machinery)

• Perform in-house inspections of materials and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Create inspection templates and procedures for parts.

• Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends.

Collaboration and supplier management:

• Review and assess inspection and technical documentation from suppliers.
• Manage supplier quality through site visits and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering and build teams to integrate quality control measures into production.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or a related field.
• 2-5 years experience in Engineering, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or high-tech industries.
• Proven track record of managing supplier relationships.
• Strong experience with continuous improvement processes and methodologies.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant industry standards such as UL508A / CE marking / TUV preferable.
