<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<p>Drive development and/or installation of direct and indirect labor standards and methods. Track labor, efficient manpower utilization, and line balancing. Conduct Ergonomic Job evaluations and implement workstation designs that meet safety and ergonomic requirements. Analyse problem process constraints and conduct equipment cycle time analysis. Recommend most efficient distribution of manpower and review daily employee manpower, analyse plant methods and standards. Prepare or direct the preparation of cost estimates of new or revised methods and standards. Review proposed changes in plant layout, processes, material handling, routing, etc. Analyse production and non-production operations to determine those requiring study and develop new or improved methods and standards. Conduct time and motion/MODAPTS studies and review employee proposals and suggestions. Develop cycle line layouts for current and future models using ACAD. Lead job methodization and process allocations. Coordinate engineering changes and planning. Conduct value stream mapping and process audits. Develop cost saving project proposals and write projects as required. Assist production in planning labor allocations for mix and line speed changes. Lead future model labor development (design, cycle line layouts, future model allocations). Analyse and report current production plan vs. actual results. Identify concerns and proactively initiate projects to resolve the concerns.</p>
<p>Qualifications:</p>
<p>Bachelor&#39;s Degree in Industrial Engineering. 2+ years&#39; experience in an Industrial Engineering Role at a manufacturing facility with manual and automated processes. Must possess the ability to analyse and resolve issues quickly through root cause analysis and drive change back to the production departments. Must demonstrate the ability to execute and achieve results, while organising and managing multiple priorities. Must have the ability to serve as a strong and confident technical mentor to the production organisation (both hourly and salary). Must have strong written and verbal communications skills. Must have strong data analysis and reporting skills.</p>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are looking for an Industrial Engineer to join our team in Quonset Point, RI. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing Anduril&#39;s manufacturing operations for best-in-class quality, reliability, speed, and asset utilization. This involves conducting detailed time studies, providing reports and actionable insights, assisting in creating and maintaining accurate work standards and documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include: Conducting detailed time studies for every build to establish benchmarks and identify inefficiencies; Providing reports and actionable insights to the teams and leadership based on collected data; Assisting in creating and maintaining accurate work standards and documentation; Optimizing work cell design, material presentation and operations workflows to enhance productivity; Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies; Providing training and support to staff on process improvements and best practices; Evaluating and integrating new technologies, tools, or machinery to improve operational efficiency; Monitoring and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement; Supporting cost reduction initiatives and resource optimization strategies; Ensuring workplace safety and ergonomics in process designs.</p>
<p>Required qualifications include: 3+ years past experience in a rate manufacturing environment and production-type role where complex mechanical and/or electrical assemblies were built; Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of proper time and motion study methodologies; Experience using real operational data to make informed suggestions and decisions; Understanding of the means and methods of how material flows around a facility including but not limited to pull systems + triggers, Kanban and MIN MAX calculations; Experience using discrete event simulation; Prior knowledge and interaction with a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for production operations; Prior knowledge and interaction with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system; Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles/implementation; Ability to demonstrate a willingness to take on substantial responsibility across manufacturing, engineering, and operations functions with a bias towards speed and accuracy; Strong ability to read technical documentation such as drawings and CAD data, understanding of a variety of hardware manufacturing processes for both electronics (PCBAs, sensor hardware, etc.) and structures, mechanical components, and electromechanical systems; Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.</p>
<p>Preferred qualifications include: Demonstrated understanding of and experience using MODAPTS; Data analytics knowledge and experience including the use of SQL to create complex custom queries, mining and joining tables from production and supply chain databases (experience with Palantir Foundry a plus); Experience and demonstrated skills with Simio (DES software); Experience and demonstrated skills with AutoCAD; Bachelor’s degree or higher in industrial, mechanical/aerospace/manufacturing, electrical, or computer engineering; 2+ years past experience in a rate manufacturing environment and production-type role where complex mechanical and/or electrical assemblies were built.</p>
